Captain Jackie LaRoche

    Captain Jackie LaRoche grew up in Lawton and began his police career with the Lawton Police Department in 1983.  He has worked as a patrol officer, narcotics investigator, intelligence officer and detective.

     He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1996 and has worked as both a patrol and detectives supervisor.  In 2001 he was promoted to Captain and was assigned to the Uniform Division as a Watch Commander.

     Captain LaRoche was instrumental in developing the Lawton Police Department's motorcycle unit, the website and the mobile data terminals.  He also was responsible for bringing laser technology to the Police Department's traffic enforcement detail. 

    He currently is assigned to the Echo Team as Watch Commander.

    He has been married for 29 years and has three children.
